About Legion Of Mary

The purpose of the Legion is to mirror Mary. If true to the ideal, the Legion will share her crowning gift to cast a light into the hearts of those who are in the darkness of unbelief.

The legion’s work is APOSTOLIC – that is to bring God to all we meet. Beside our weekly meeting, the activities are as follows

Home Visitation

• To foster a closer relationship, to keep in contact with Catholics who have not practised their faith.
  
• To keep parishioners updated on the activities in the Parish and catechism classes for children.
  
• To update the census particulars of parishioners residing in Marsiling, Woodlands and Admiralty.
  
• To encourage parishioners to join church organizations.
  

Hospital / Institution Visit

• To bring good cheer and to pray as one with the sick.
  

Contact Work

• To bring the Catholic faith to our families and friends.
  
• To help people to know the Lord and Mother Mary a little better.
  
• To increase our circle of contacts.
  

Funeral Wakes

• To give support in times of grief.
  
• To evangelize and pray as a family.
  

Teaching Catechism

• To share our faith and wisdom with the children.
  

Functions

• To participate in the yearly events (Acies – renewing our promises) and AGR.
  
• To join in the outdoor activities organized by Curia.
  
• Our praesidium gathering.
