About Children's Choir

The St Anthony Children’s Choir started singing regularly on Saturday’s sunset mass three years ago with our first mass duty singing for sunset mass on Pentecost Sunday in 2004.

Currently, we have about 25 kids with youngest being 7 years old and the oldest at 12 years old and we are fortunate to have a very dedicated group of 9 adult volunteers.

Our Mission

The mission of the St. Anthony’s children’s choir is to start getting kids involved in church activities and using their angelic voice in leading the sunset mass congregations to praise and worship GOD weekly

Each choir has a distinctive way of portraying the Mass hymns in a way which the congregation is able to experience a deeper sense of prayer and peacefulness during the Celebration. However way it is done, the ultimate accomplishment of our presence is to help them sing and participate throughout the mass.

As quoted from St. Augustine , "he who sings, prays twice". So, with that said, the Music Ministry warmly welcomes anyone, who feels that he/she has an inclined love for singing/playing of an instrument, Is willing to devote his/her time to the Lord in response/gratitude to the blessings of many gifts and talents given by God our Father.

If you like your child enjoy singing and is keen to sing for GOD and he or she is between 5 years old to 12 years old, we welcome your child to join our children’s choir weekly to sing and praise GOD.
